PANDAS September / October 2023 Club News & Updates
Dear PANDAS Members,
I hope everyone is keeping well and has managed some flying over the last few months. The weather has being very mixed so far this year.
We have a number of events as below coming up.
Club Admin Matters
We have 168 members at the moment and will be completing the year end accounts by the end of September ready for the club AGM on Tuesday 7th November. I think we will show a slight loss on the year (depends on the final grass cutting costs). The club is still in a healthy financial position and with our club subscriptions still at £30..00, one of the cheapest clubs in the country.
This is my 5th year as club chairman and it does take a considerable amount of time and effort to run a large club such as PANDAS. Without the help of the other committee members and other club members the club could not function in the way it does.
Yorkshire Air Ambulance Donations / Collections
At the various events held at the field in the last 12 months we have raised £1035.00 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Thank you to everyone who has helped and made donations at these events.
September Club Meeting – Tuesday 5th September
I am not available for the September club meeting and it will be run by another member of the committee. We will make it more of a social get together where members can have a natter.

October Club Meeting – Tuesday 3rd October
At this club meeting Chris Clark the Sales, Product and Brand Manager at OptiGLOBAL has kindly offered to give a talk / presentation on their products.
It would good to see a good turnout.
