Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity Collection Thank You
We raised £180.00 over the 2 days at the recent BMFA Northern Area ‘Flight Fest Event’ for the ‘Yorkshire Air Ambulance’ by asking for donations for the attendees at the SWAPMEET and from people making donations at the tea and coffee table. Thank you to Sheila Marshall for collecting and arranging the donations.
We have at least another £30..00 to send and hopefully will raise some more at the upcoming events at the field this year.
On behalf of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) we would like to say a heartfelt thank you for your kind donation of £180.00.
It costs £12,000 a day to keep both of Yorkshire’s Air Ambulances in the air, and as an independent Charity we rely on the generosity of people like yourself to help save lives 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Your donation helps us to:
- Provide a life-saving rapid response emergency service in Yorkshire to 5 million people across 4 million acres
- Attend over 1,300 incidents a year, an average of 4 every single day
- Deliver specialist treatment on-scene or fly patients to the most relevant major trauma treatment centre for their injuries or medical issue, in the quickest time possible
Like many charities across the UK, we have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and it is donations such as yours that have kept our service running, and enabled us to provide urgent medical care to those who need us.
